Alexander Technique for Brass Players
As a wellbeing professional experienced in breath work and ergonomics, I'm passionate about helping musicians, singers and speakers enhance their performance. With over 15 years of teaching the Alexander Technique, I guide students in alleviating strain and injuries while achieving a better communication, coordination and use of the self. My journey has taken me across Italy and Europe, sharing my expertise at music conservatories in masterclasses and yearly course and I proudly co-directed the Italian Accordion Academy from 2009 to 2019, supporting accordion players on their path to success.
Recently, I have focused my studies on Brass Instruments, with a particular emphasis on the Trumpet, which I actively play. Under the guidance of my esteemed mentor, Marco Pierobon, I have embarked on a journey that fully investigates the connection between breath and music, coordination and sound production.
I'm excited to share my research at the upcoming Monteverdi Brass Days and to teach specialised techniques that enhance the learning experience for brass players. If you're interested in exploring this fascinating world further, please feel free to reach out for more information!
