ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE FOR KIDS
Kathleen Delaney is a dedicated and passionate teacher.
Her training over the last two decades allows her to integrate many aspects of pedagogy: philosophies, movement practices and teaching methods, including The Alexander Technique, Yoga, Martial Arts, Music, Contact Improvisation, Pilates and so on.
She is able to bring in postural and movement control, breathing/vocalization skills, self awareness and confidence.
Kathleen believes in a holistic, student-centred approach.
Kathleen is an engaging teacher, who uses a positive and formative approach. She guides students to achieve their short or long-term goals in particular teaching them how to deal with attention issues, anxiety and stress, communication issues.
In group sessions, she uses tools like perceptive games in order to make the learning/teaching process challenging, interactive and fun.
