Kathleen Delaney holds a MD with honors from the University of Bologna (Dept. of Performing Arts) and a three years diploma from ATCA in Amsterdam.
She studies dance and theater from young age, since 2000 she works with dance and theater companies, musicians and composers, visual artists in thepost modern and contemporary field.

She has been dancing and teaching in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Nederlands, Finland, Poland, UK, Russia at P.A.R.T.S in Bruxelles, Middlesex University in London, SNDO Hogeschool voor De Kunsten in Amsterdam, de Singel in Antwerp, Herentals MuzicAcademie, Festival de Danse ‘Antilope’ a La-Chaux-des- Fondes, Festival ‘La via lattea’ in Lugano, ‘The Art of Movement’ in Yaroslavl Russia, Teatro Lauro Rossi Macerata, Festival ‘Danze di Inverno’ in Sesto Fiorentino, Festival ofElectro-Acustic Arts ‘Synthése’ in Bourges, Festival Internazionale di Musica ‘Angelica’ in Bologna, Academy of Kracow, Stoa Theater in Helsinki, a.o.

In 2009 she has been invited to present a poster at the International Association of Dance Medical Sciences in The Hague. In 2008 she organized the Congress ‘Dance research and transmedial pratice’ for the International Center of Semiotic and Linguistic Studies in Urbino. She has been invited to present her work at the International Institute for Advanced Studies in Systems research and Cybernetics in Baden- Baden.

Some of her writings have been published in Italy, Belgium, Germany and USA.
